An eventful train ride.
I started this project with a very broad theme in mind: a space for a body.
Having moved and traveled quite a bit, I often feel rootless. I wanted to simulate this feeling of motion and change within the confines of my room.
ahoj - short film
The word Ahoj is an informal greeting in Czech- “hello” used for family and friends.
A child of divorce, Jan is on business in his estranged father’s hometown of Prague. As he wonders the city, he is struck with a desire to rekindle their relationship and leaves his father a voicemail.
This is an original short film I wrote, directed, and edited for Prague Film School’s 2020 intensive summer workshop. Watch my explanation of the program below.

Memoryscape features a 3D rendition of a character from my favorite childhood series, Avatar: The Last Airbender. In this short animation, I wanted to create a dream like atmosphere suggesting themes of escapism.
