ahoj

I wrote, directed, and edited this short film as part of Prague Film School’s intensive summer workshop. The story is inspired by tidbits from my own Czech background.

Concept

“Ahoj” is an informal Czech greeting used between friends. Sadly, it is one of the few words I know in my father’s native tongue. And I started writing the script with just that word in mind.

Production

I got to wear a lot of different hats for this project from casting to location scouting to managing a small crew of three. Highlights included shooting in the rain and showcasing our work at a local theatre.
